A Message from you new President of the Florida Chapter of NAPNAP!

It is official!  I am your new President and looking forward to my nest two years of leading the Florida Chapter of NAPNAP.  For those who may not know me, my name is Melissa Kelly ARNP, CPNP.  I currently work for Silver Lake Pediatrics in Leesburg, FL.  I have been a PNP for 4 years.  I love working with children.  I would like to congratulate Janel on the great job she has done as immediate past President.  Her hard work to have the website created, working together with the Suncoast chapter for our joint conference and all the odds and ends she did to make us the best Small Chapter for 2009!!  I would like to hear from our members about speakers, events, or other ptojects near and dear to their hearts.  My pet project is Camp Boggy Creek in Eustis, FL.  We are always looking for nurse practitioners and nurses to help out at camp.  Any questions let me know!  One of my goals as President is to get PNPs recognized.  I will be periodically sending press releases to local news agencies to let Florida know what impact PNPs are having on the health of chilredn in this state.  I look forward to working with all of you and I am always open for questions and concerns.  Fell free to email me at any time!
