CDC: H1N1 flu virus so far remains mild The H1N1 flu virus,

while continuing to spread globally, so far has not mutated into a deadlier strain, CDC Director Thomas Frieden said Thursday. "That means that although it may affect lots of people, most people will not be severely ill," Frieden said. Meanwhile, a CDC study showed that most of the H1N1 flu-related deaths among children occurred in those aged at least 5 years old with high-risk medical conditions.
